Alessandro Mauri had a passion: Maple Trees and his home country of Omate. For this passion, at the beginning of the '60s he gave up his stressful and monotonous job in a factory to dedicate himself to what has today become one of the most important firms producing maple trees at Omate: the Azienda Agricola Mauri Alessandro.
Nestled in the Natural Park of Molgora, the "Azienda" carefully selects the best plants and takes special care of each single plant starting from its sowing, according to Alessandro Mauri's long experience and knowledge and combining the most innovative grafting techniques, regular transplanting and the recently successfully accomplished shift from field cultivation to that in pots.
All this makes "Aceri di Omate" stand out as one of the mostly appreciated plants in the best Italian Garden Centers and for plant lovers all over Europe.
